Webmaster, Mr. Terry didn't own Terry's Kitchen at 26th. and Parrish. The owner was Terry Battistelli. Her sons Eric and Vince ran the store when she retired. My mother worked for them for over 20 yrs. They are wonderful people. I hope this helps. To Mr. Terrys' family may prayers are with you. Godd Bless.

witchywoman I surely must be guilty as charged! Iam paid from my employer for my work, and paid for my medical. I still do. I do not think that is special. I find it to be the norm. I am not at all ashamed of that. I am also greatful.

Here we go again, Also I remember Jimmy and Toni Arger, About maybe 10yrs ago in Connies bar on 22nd N the Springgarden St Tony, by accident set my hair on fire. I didnt even know it Mike Elliott kept saying fire, fire and then Tony smacked me in the head and then someone poured a drink on me... I know where Mike is he married my cousin Jen Glenn, but would love know how Tony is, had fun (all clean)times with him shooting pool... I miss how we all would just hang with ourselves dindt need to much outside help to have fun.. Boy most of us are not even in the area now, hope all are good

Hi, to all at this site. I just want to say hello! I was raised in Fairmount, proud of it too. My family worked hard, never even thought of welfare. We made do!!! We put our children through catholic school, paid the tuition, put our envelopes in the Sunday Church basket. This is what Fairmount is !! We go to our kids games, we cheer them, we honor them on the day that they receive the sacraments, we buy our food without food stammps, or food cards!! We like to relax every now and then, but we do pay for it. We cherish our friends, and stand by them always! Sorry if I am going off, but we need to see more life at this site, not bull, and more for the forum, as opposed to the chats that surely can go on in IM's or E-Mail. WHAT IS GOING ON!!!
